Halloween 2008

For Halloween my friend Keni sewed a Leprechaun costumer for Coey. It turned out pretty good since she doesn't even really sew. Ever since last year I wanted him to be a leprechaun. He turned out pretty dang cute. We also decided that we were not going to carve pumpkins because they are so messy. Instead my mother in law gave us some face decorations that you just shove in the pumpkin so it was super easy. As you can tell Coey was pretty excited!

OMG I updated my blog!!!

So yeah I'm the worst at this blogging thing but figured I'd give it another go. The thing is my life really isn't that exciting. With the holidays coming up I'm sure there will be more to share, but right now everythings pretty much the same. For now just enjoy the new posts I will be adding.

Ode to the Coeyster!

Coey just celebrated his 4th Birthday. My how our time with him so far has gone by so fast. If I didn't have pictures of him when he was a baby I seriously wouldn't even remember him being that little. It's hard to believe that the little baby who was 2 lbs. 13 oz. is now a healthy almost 30 pound 4 year old who is so unbelievably smart. Not to mention the best personality I have ever know. Here are so pictures of him on his 4 year journey so far.

Don't worry about it dad!

So last night after Coey had his bath Bryce went into the bathroom and there was water all over the floor. So Bryce asked Coey what happened Coey said "Don't worry I pooped in the tub but put it in the toliet." Bryce said "You did what?" Then he went into more detail he said, "I pooped in the tub, picked it up with my hand and put it in the potty, don't worry about it." Bryce finally realized he really did poop in the tub. Oh the joys of having kids!

What's the Coeyster been up to???

First Stickney to Graduate!

So my super awesome husband became the first Stickney to graduate college on May 3, 2008. I am soooo proud of him and can't wait until I graduate. I guess I'll be the second Stickney, even though only by marriage. Here he is in front of Old Main, the most notable building on campus.

Here he is again next to the famous "A" where you become a "true aggie!"

So I know you must be thinking we are mean for doing this to our adorable little girl, but you have to admit that this is pretty funny. It's so funny because she doesn't have any teeth so it makes her extra chubby.
See she doesn't mind it, she's still smiling! :o)

Those Darn Stickney Kids!

So just wanted to give a little taste of what has been going on with us lately.

The other day Bryce thought it would be funny to put Coey up on the ledge at our house. If you've ever seen you it, you know it's pretty high. We used to tell Coey it was "time-out" so he would be good. He's not too scared of it anymore.

Okay here is a picture of Morgan just being her cute self. I think she is such a little doll!

So since Coey has decided that pooping in the toliets is for losers and only the cool kids poop their pants. At least that is what he would like us to believe. Anytime this kid gets distracted he either poops or pees his underwear, and I would like to beat him. However, today after pooping his pants a little we decided to make him sit on the toliet and go before he could get off. The picture above is of his major meltdown! We stop every little while to make him go, and even make him sit down when he is ripping farts but he always goes in his underwear. Any suggestions!

Meanwhile, while Coey was having his meltdown Morgan was in her room with me having a grand ol time. We think she secretly likes it when Coey gets in trouble!

Quarter the Easter Duck!

Yesterday after picking Coey up from school he informed me that Grammy Pammy was going to buy him a duck named Quarter. I thought for some reason he was talking about the piggy bank she bought him that he puts quarters in. I decided to investigate. So I asked him if she had already a bought it and he said no it was at the big store. I was curious so called my mom to see if she had told him she would buy him a duck. She said no. Coey then wanted to talk to her. He told her about this duck she was supposedly buying him. When their conversation ended and she got back on the phone she told me to get the duck and she would pay him back. This kid sure knows how to work Grammy. He gets anything he wants when it comes to her. So today we were at the store and Coey saw his duck! He freaked out so we had to get it. The duck is bigger than his and we really have no need for it, but since we didn't buy it we thought what the heck. Here is a picture of Coey with his new duck Quarter.

Just another manic Saturday!

Lately Bryce has been doing a lot of flying so he can finish up his Certified Flight Instructor Rating. Today was one of those days where he normally would be home all day, but had a stage check instead. Thank goodness he was home for this little story or I'm sure I would have shot myself. All day Coey had been ripping farts so I kept telling him to go to the bathroom. He even had a small "accident" in his pants. At one point this morning I was walking across the kitchen and picked something up off the floor, gross, it was a little poo. Finally, I had had enough and told Coey to go the bathroom again. Well about 5 minutes later I sent Bryce in to check on him. What a site, Coey was on the toliet but had just barely made it there because there was a large amount of poo on the seat between his legs. After he was finished Bryce cleaned it up and all was good, or so I thought. Next thing I know Bryce is asking Coey "Why did you do this?" I went to investigate. Well our little Coeyster had smeared poo all over the computer desk. Not sure where it came from or how he smeared it (his hands were clean), but there it was on the desk. I let Bryce handle this one too. I couldn't believe it and still can't! What is going on with my son, he's potty trained so I'm pretty confused!

Look how big she's getting!

So look at how big our little princess is getting. Morgan will be three months old tomorrow and she is the best baby. If I could have 50 of her I probably would. Okay not 50 but I'd definitely go for number three. She sleeps so good at night and usually only wakes up once. She is such a happy baby. She loves to lay on the ground and just talk. She only cries when she's hungry or tired, in which case you either feed her or rock her to sleep. We are so blessed to have her in our lives and are just so lucky that we got such a beautiful little girl!

Why I don't blog much anymore!

I know some of you people out there have been wondering why I haven't posted any new blogs in awhile. On top of being busy this picture to the left is why I don't. Coey is always on the computer. Anytime I try to get on the desktop he freaks out and says it's "his computer". I love him playing games and he amazes me at how good he is, but I would like to use the computer also. Thank goodness Bryce set the laptop up so I can use it but I don't have the adaptor cord readily available for use on my laptop. I could blog but there wouldn't be any cute pictures, so what's the point! I'll get caught up someday!

Sleepy Time

Here are just a few cute pictures of Morgan sleeping. She's getting so big. She went to the doctor on Monday and was 10 pounds 10 ounces and 21.5 inches long. She is definitely getting bigger. It's probably because she eats 12 times a day!!!

Allison Tagged Me!

I won't normally be doing this on this blog since it's a family one but figured I'd do this because I'm bored!

I've been tagged by Allison to do this about my husband.

1. What is his name? Jack Bryce Stickney

2. How long have you been married? 5 years and 4 months (today)

3. How long did you date? We only dated 4 months

4. How old is he? He is 28

5. Who eats more? He does

6. Who said I love you first? I think it was me but don't really remember. He had been out of town for about a week and we were talking on instant messenger about love and we both said that we loved each other but when we were in person I think I was the first to say it.

7. Who is smarter? That's hard because we are both smart at different things. I am more into school books and stuff like that and he is better at fixing things and hands on stuff.

8. Whose temper is worse? I would have to say me.

9. Who does the laundry? It's usually me unless I'm overwhelmed then he jumps in and saves the day.

10. Who does the dishes? Again it's usually me unless I need help.

11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Bryce, he lets me sleep closest to the door that way if someone breaks in they get me first. Just kidding!

12. Who pays the bills? Bryce makes the money and I make sure the bills get paid.

13. Who cooks dinner? I do unless it's tacos, carne asada or something being cooked on the grill. But Bryce is really good about making breakfast.

14. Who drives when you are together? Him, I don't think he likes my driving.

15. Who is more stubborn? Oh that would probably be me again.

16. Whose parents do you see the most? His since mine are in another state.

17. Who proposed? Well I think this might be me because we were never engaged but one day I said, "Let's just get married" and we did two days later.

18. Who has more friends? Probably him, I only have a few good friends but he gets out of the house more so he gets to socialize.

19. Who has more siblings? Him

Morgan's Blessing

On February 3rd we had Morgan's blessing. It also happened to be the super bowl so we got to party with family all day long. It was snowing so bad but we are grateful that our family braved the weather so we could spend the day with them.

Morgan's 5 week old pictures!

Here are some new pictures of Morgan. We took her to Kiddie Kandids today and she did pretty good for us waking her up to take her pictures.

I think she looks like a little angel in her blessing dress.

Morgan's new friend!

This is such a sweet picture!

Need a Morgan fix?!?

Here are just some more pictures of our little girl that we wanted to share. She is getting so big. She went for her two week appointment and was 6 pounds 13 ounces and then we took her back 6 days later and she was 7 pounds 7 ounces. 10 ounces in one week is crazy. The nurse said, "Mom you definitely have the good stuff!"

Morgan's first time to church. The dress was so cute and frilly but she didn't like being sat up like this.

Just hangin' out on the floor while mom does some homework.

Biker Coey

Coey decided that he wanted tattoos so after each one Coey wanted more. This was the end result!

Notice the pouty face? That's because I was yelling at him for just peeing on the floor!

Pictures of Morgan!

Here are some new pictures of Morgan. My friend Tiffany gave me the super cute outfit so I had to take some pictures. Enjoy!

My baby isn't "special" she was just trying to lick her jacket, that's all!

More pictures of the angel!

Earlier today after I got Morgan dressed I decided to take some pictures. One because she was sooo cute and two because she is already changing so much! Enjoy!

Couldn't figure out what she was looking at.

Such a doll!

Isn't she just the cutest!?!?!

Coey loves bowling!

Bryce's friend from North Carolina passed through earlier this week and we all decided to go bowling. Coey absolutely loves bowling so he had a blast. I didn't bowl because of the whole weight restriction and I figured trying to throw a 10 pound ball down a lane probably wasn't the best idea. But I still had fun watching all the guys bowl and they all had fun!

Coey being silly!

He kept trying to pick his ball up like the big boys!

Daddy helping him get the ball lined up.

A couple of times Coey didn't want his help and told him to stand back!
